Few people have been so influential to both mainstream culture and counterculture as William Burroughs - the novelist was a defining force of the Beat Generation and the Postmodernist fervor of the 1960s.
Along with Allen Ginsberg and Jack Kerouac, Burroughs wrote The Naked Lunch in 1957. Considered too depraved for the American public at the fime, the novel was first published in Paris by Christian Bourgois in 1959 and remains Burroughs most esteemed work.
In collaboration with Christian Bourgois Editeur, Éditions M.R is proud to present Burroughs' masterpieces Interzone, La Machine molle / Le Ticket qui explosa / Nova express, Ultimes paroles & Lettres.
Our book selection is available at both Éditions MR store locations.
